Sunshine Blesses Fund Raising Garden Party
Tuesday 8th June, 2010 at 18:05
Thanks to a good-old British knees up (of the non-cycling kind) held by Irene and Peter Cholerton at their Sheffield home, a further £650 has been raised towards the Danny Porter Foundation. The garden party, which was held in glorious sun shine on Saturday (5th June) sold a selection cakes, teas and coffee’s and even received a percentage from pieces of art sold from local artists; Jean Binney, Janice Allen, Patrick Harding and also Corporate Sponsor Wildago. The 50/60 friends and neighbours of Irene and Peter’s were also treated to the pair debuting their Danny Porter Foundation cycling tops which helped drum up interest and further sponsorship of the ride which takes place in less than two weeks. Thank you Irene and Peter.
